Denise Butler with Kylie and Pete after signing the marriage documents
Once you have contacted me by phone or email with time, date and venue, we will arrange a meeting to fill out the necessary paper work and go over the plans for your wedding day. You will receive a selection of wedding ceremonies, and readings to choose from. These range from traditional ceremonies to a broad range of ceremony options. I offer a personalised ceremony, or you may prefer to write your own vows. The input you have in your wedding ceremony is important as it creates the ceremony that is perfect for you.
I respect the many cultural traditions Australia has to offer and am happy to include these traditions in your wedding ceremony.I am a trained anthropologist and understand the importance of ritual and symbolism in different cultural settings. If you would like to something unique in your ceremony, I have extensive knowledge of the following.

The above descriptions are a short overview of the rituals. If you would like further information on any of them, please let me know. If you have any other rituals in mind that are specific to your cultural heritage, please contact me to discuss them and I can research the requirements.
